When Howard retired in 2017, he transitioned Operations Management to his son-in-law, David, ensuring continued strong leadership within the company. David brought with him valuable field expertise, established client relationships, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish — all of which quickly made him an essential part of the team.

David oversees daily operations, managing the warehouse, foremen, and field crews to ensure projects run efficiently and smoothly. He is responsible for scheduling, coordinating workflow, and maintaining clear communication between the field, the office, and clients.

His bilingual communication skills allow him to effectively support both team members and clients, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and projects stay on track. David’s hands-on knowledge and operational leadership play a critical role in maintaining the high standards Mecklenburg Paint Company is known for.
