Mike began his career with Mecklenburg Paint Company in August 1992 as a painter. Through dedication, hard work, and strong leadership, he steadily advanced within the company, ultimately earning the role of Superintendent.

When the company transitioned its focus from new construction to maintenance painting, Mike worked closely alongside Howard, overseeing crews to ensure projects stayed on track. His leadership and deep understanding of field operations were instrumental during this pivotal shift in the company’s direction.

Following Howard’s retirement in 2017 and continued company growth, Mike stepped into the role of Assistant Manager, where he supports Project Managers and helps ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

With over 35 years of experience in the paint industry, Mike brings exceptional knowledge of commercial buildings throughout Charlotte and a strong understanding of the best coatings and application methods for each unique situation. His experience, reliability, and industry expertise make him a crucial part of the Mecklenburg Paint team. You can catch Mike in Uptown Charlotte, just about every day!
